Roma coach Daniele de Rossi has delivered a positive update on Evan N'Dicka.

The defender has been released from hospital after collapsing during the clash with Udinese on the weekend.

De Rossi said at today's Europa League media conference: "He's fine and that's the most important thing. I think everyone takes whatever lesson they want from it if there is one.

"We received compliments for something normal. We did what seemed automatic to us. If anyone wants to learn a lesson from it, they want to say that we are rotten as a society. Someone also saw that we wanted to march.

"The guy from the electrocardiogram told us that he was having a heart attack in progress, so when there is that doubt it doesn't allow you to continue just moments in which to do what is normal. There was no possibility of continuing.

"I complimented the boys, there was no one who wanted to continue playing we rediscovered ourselves as family in these moments and not just when we win matches."

Roma and Udinese will eventually resume the game at a later to be defined date.
