New Giants QB Nathan Rourke had one of the most insane NFL preseason highlights ever

The New York Giants claimed QB Nathan Rourke off waivers on Tuesday, adding another intriguing name to the room behind Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, and Tommy DeVito. 

Rourke, a Canadian football player that led the Ohio Bobcats to a 25-14 record and three bowl wins in his three seasons as a college football starter, played two seasons of CFL (where he won the Most Outstanding Canadian player of the year award) before spending time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots in 2023. 

While Rourke has yet to log any regular season snaps, he did have one of the most insane and electrifying highlights in NFL preseason history last year.

Playing against the Dallas Cowboys and facing a third-and-16 at the Cowboys' 21-yard line, Rourke worked some magic as he faced two defensive linemen going after him, one through the left-side B-gap and the other through the right-side edge. Although both got to him, Rourke ducked and spun around while also evading a third defender. 

Someway, somehow, he broke a tackle from a fourth defender and stayed on his feet long enough to deliver a pass over the head of a Cowboys LB and into the hands of his running back, who was working vertically along the sideline on the scramble drill. You can see the play in the tweet below.
